Historically, a debutante was a young lady that had reached the age of maturity and was ready to make a “debut” to society. We have embraced this concept as an opportunity to mentor young ladies who will be graduating from high school and preparing for post-secondary education. Our Debutante Program is designed to broaden the debutantes’ educational, social, and cultural perspectives through a series of program activities that include personal development workshops, college preparatory workshops, community service projects/opportunities, etiquette training and more! The season culminates with the formal presentation of the debutantes during the much anticipated Cotillion Scholarship Ball.
In addition to all the activities and the formal ball, our program also provides the opportunity for each debutante to earn college scholarships. These college scholarships are supported through our 501(c)(3) organization based on the level of donations the debutante receives. The more each debutante raises – the more she earns in scholarship dollars!
