Message from our President
It is my honor to serve as the President of the Southern Crescent Pearls Foundation, Incorporated (SCPF) for 2018-2019. The SCPF has been serving the Southern Crescent communities of Clayton and Henry Counties since 2008 and I am committed to strengthening our legacy by expanding our reach and impact over the next 2 years. This will be an exciting time for the SCPF and our surrounding communities. As I embark on this new journey as President, I will tirelessly strive to meet the following objectives:
Strengthening the SCPF's Community Impact - Over the past 10 years, the SCPF has held a tradition of providing scholarships to graduating high school students through our signature Debutante Program and the Beverly Janae Garret Bold as Love Scholarship. Our journey forward will broaden these signature programs and include additional scholarship and grant opportunities to our community. We will also seek opportunities to partner with our community leaders and other service organizations that are committed to serving the Southern Crescent community.
Maintaining Financial Stability - Along with the Board of Directors, I am committed to ensuring that the SCPF remains financially stable through sound financial practices. Our goal is to grow our financial impact to the community while maintaining our commitment to minimizing operating costs.
Ensuring Organizational Cohesiveness - As an affiliate of the Psi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, we strive to ensure the SCPF is aligned with the goals of AKA. We want our presence in the community to be clear and impactful so we will partner with the Psi Alpha Omega Chapter on programs and initiatives that benefit our community.
The SCPF welcomes your financial support. You may provide a tax-deductible donation using the donate button below and 100% of the proceeds of your donation will be used to support scholarships and services provided to the community.
I look forward to taking this journey with you.
